Gettin’ Healthy

So hubby and I have decided that we are going to try a  plant-based diet this year, 2013.  We plan to start this diet this week (yikes!) and I feel that I’m entering into unknown territory as we are family of meat eaters!  This will be a spot where I start to jot down things I learn, tips, etc.

  1. You can do it! My goal is to gradually use less and less meat..trying to go down to every other day meatless or only using it as a flavoring or small ingredient in plant based soups. Lydia last night ate half a can of plain chick peas, while I was frying up a chicken breast, to split between the three of us on a salad….that girl loves chick peas!
