Wednesday Weekly Photo Challenge: Old-Fashioned

Potters Bridge Park       •       Indiana       •       Summer, 2010

On days when the family is feeling antsy, usually late in the afternoons at the end of a weekend, we’ll sometimes grab the dog, hop in the car, and come over to Potters Bridge Park to spend an hour or two.  The kids love going through the old-fashioned covered bridge and and especially like looking out the bridge windows to watch the currents of the White River. There is a beautiful paved path that you can walk on for miles, literally, with areas every so often to sit and enjoy nature.  The path is wide enough that it will accommodate walkers, bike riders,  and joggers.  If you don’t feel like walking, there is also a play area for the kids to let out some energy and benches for the adults to sit and relax.
