So while visiting my favorite addiction, Facebook, I just happened to look at those annoying little ads that pop-up on the right side of the page and instead of getting back to what I was going there to do, play Scrabble against my husband, I actually CLICKED on the ad…how daring! However, the ad was for a magazine called ADDitude, a magazine for adults and parents of those with ADD and ADHD. Our oldest son, Samuel, has been diagnosed with both ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder) — thus, the connection for why I wanted to see what this magazine was about.
This seems to be a pretty good little site, even without subscribing to the magazine. I checked out a couple of the blogs within the site and actually found a few of the articles to provide some good information in a short read. If you are someone who parents a child or has ADD/ADHD yourself, you might find this site helpful: http://www.additudemag.com/index.html.
