12/23/11: Isabella just informed me that she is only going to have 3 children when she gets married because she only wants 5 chairs at the dinner table.
09/09/11: Tonight on the way home, Samuel shows me a paper where he got 6 of 12 problems wrong in naming the type of sentence (declaritive, etc.). I tell him that it looks like this is something that he and I need to work on and his reply: “Mom, I knew what they were, I just wrote the wrong thing”. Umm, okay?
09/07/11: Isabella, did you take a nap today? Her reply: “I tried mommy but my eyes kept popping open!”
08/06/11: Isabella: Mommy, my tongue is asleep.
Me: Why do you say it’s asleep?
Isabella: Because it’s not moving.
07/22/11: As we’re on our way to the splash park, Isabella asks me if we can stay for a “couple of awhiles”!
07/17/11: Caden announced to us at dinner that when he grows up, he wants to be a security guard.
12/12/10: Isabella says to me as I’m getting dressed, “Mom, you’re squishy”!
11/27/10: Isabella asks me ” Mommy, do you have eyebrows?”
11/20/10: Isabella asks me “Mommy, does Santa have a dog”?
11/06/10: Isabella climbs in to Evelyn’s bed this morning and I hear her say to Evelyn (through the monitor in my room),” it’s okay, say something…mommy will hear you!”
